Mo Guernon


Mo Guernon has been an award-winning teacher and educational leader in Massachusetts and Rhode Island public schools for more than thirty years. He has been a consultant to the RI Department of Education and to nearly two dozen school districts, conducting numerous training sessions for central office and school building administrators on the implementation of the state’s educator evaluation model.

Previously, Mr. Guernon has served as Adult & Community Education Director and a curriculum, marketing, and grant writing consultant. He has taught in middle and high school as well as at Bristol Community College and the American Institute of Foreign Study. He lectured at the Taft Institute of Government at Rhode Island College and has served on numerous New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) school accreditation teams.

Mo has written extensively on educational and social issues and offers various writing services, including speech-writing, editorial assistance, communications workshops, and public relations/advertising strategies through Quest Writing Solutions.

Mo received his B.A. in History and English from the University of Rhode Island and earned an Ed.M. in Administration, Planning & Social Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education and serves as an HGSE alumni ambassador.
